What is Breast Fibroid?
Fibrocystic breasts are painful, lumpy breasts. Formerly called fibrocystic breast disease. Many women experience these normal breast changes, usually around their period. The female breast is either of two mammary glands on the chest. Fibrocystic breast changes occur when thickening of breast tissue and fluid-filled cysts develop in one or both breasts. It is thought that hormones made in the ovaries during menstruation can trigger these breast changes. This may make your breasts feel swollen, lumpy, or painful before or during your period each month. More than half of women have this condition at some time during their life. It is most common between the ages of 30 and 50.Diabetes Metabolic syndrome, Fatty liver disease are related with Breast Fibroid.

Symptoms of Breast Fibroid
1. Breast areas of thickening that tend to blend into the surrounding breast tissue
2. Generalized breast pain or discomfort that involves the upper outer part of the breast
3. Breast nodules or lumpy tissue change in size with the menstrual cycle
4. Green or dark brown non bloody nipple discharge that tends to leak without pressure or squeezing
5. Breast changes that are similar in both breasts
6. Monthly increase in breast pain or lumpiness from mid cycle (ovulation) to just before your period and then gets better once your period starts
